Señor Don Ramon del Cordoba ("Monneke")

Ramon (1 March 1999 - 20 February 2013)

A splendid animal and our beloved companion for almost ten years.

He was adopted by us in September 2003, after he spent the first four years of his life in the Cordoba region in Spain where - as many Spanish greyhounds - he grew up in miserable circumstances, lacking proper food, care and love.

Upon arrival in Belgium, we visited the dog shelter and he spontaneously walked towards us, never to leave us again.

From a shy and nervous animal he became a naughty, trusting and loving dog, a genuine member of our family. Always on the lookout for a treat, always ready for a hug, he never disappointed us. We will cherish his remembrance for the rest of our life.
